OC TOONS
 

Oc toons was born in 2000, and since its creation, the Group has changed a lot.

Oc toons have been developing for two years and heading for an aim they want to attain and, of course, achieve.
They play melodic, swift, sentimental hard core punk music, but above all sincere and honest. All the songs have a homespun touch and the lyrics relate the ups and downs of the Group’s five members’ personal lives.
Oc toons have been working hard these last months and touring in order to make their music known.

The guys are credited with 250 concerts all over France Europe (Austria, Belgium, Germany, Holland, Italy, Luxembourg, Slovenia, Spain, Switzerland, …) and California (san francisco, sacramento, ocea,side, huntingtown beach , roseville, oakland, paso robels, los angeles, hollywood, downey, san diego, long beach, livermore…) with other bands such as Seven Hate, Burning Heads, Skap, Gfk, Superbus, Greedy Guts, the Pookies, Fishbones, Dead Pop Club, Houston, Swing Engine, Sleepers, Unlogistic, Tagada jones, Nra, Uncommon men from Mars, fabulous disaster, tribe8 , teenage harlets, the randies, butt trumpet, belvedere, .

They have recorded some new song for the split cd with the Fabulous disaster with the new oc toons’ spirit and they are going to record the second album on september in san francsico at the motor studios with Adam krammer(nofx , nos use for a name , lagwagon ...producer)

your personal R´n´R-Heroes ?!

M: i think my rock and roll hero is tony sly from no use for a name

A: I follow my own path, but many people said that before me.
to grow up ... M: we are fucking ready to grow up , and ready to do all that we can to reach it....

A: We are ready to work hard , to spenda lot of fucking hours on our music and on hour computer ( i think it already done )
the french mentality..

M: Oh thats a good question , to be honest , i hate the french mentality , bands play and act for themselves , there isnt a lot of help and a lot of respect with bands , for me is seriously the worst scene i have even seen . there is not a lot of labels , booking agency , france is defnitly not R N R .But there is a lot of huge and fucking great bands ( no perfect , straightaway, unco, dirty fonzy, burning heads , nowadayz ...and a lot of more )

A: it's not so different than in other countries I traveled. But french always think they can teach to others. Still it's a nice cultural melting pot. And let's call myself a citizen of the planet.
what do you know about AUSTRIA and the scene from Austria ?! M: We are really huge fan of austrian scene and way of thinking . We have played 3 times there and it's for sure one of our best tour memories , the arena in austria is the best venue i have even seen in my whole life , they were so fucking friendly with them !!!
i know some bands from austria (ecco , rentokill, ...) very cool people that i have met and dammn austria is a fucking great palce to rock !!!!

A: We met wonderful people in Austria when we toured europe two years ago. We didn't visit much but we really appreciated the warmth welcoming.
guitar-solos M: i like guitar solos , but not if there is too much on a song , they have to be in the good place and in the good moment . too much solos kill solo . i wish i could do some but i suck too much to reach it hehe

Daily politics.. M: i dont like to talk about politic , is the best way to have some enemies , we are not a political band , we have a lot of ideas about it but we keep it for us .

A: I think we agree not to talk about french politics in the band
Where do you want to go with your music ?! M: all around the world , everywhere we will be able to go , and soon in fucking japan !!!!

A: As far as possible! Traveling the world sharing emotions, and keeping on experiencing on myself with introspection.

M when are you going to sign us ? lol and when are you going to organise a tour with fab d and oc toons there ?
